We’re 11 days away from early voting for the NYC June Primary, which also means 11 days away from the end of the Primary Bootcamp. If you haven’t gotten to 70 points yet, it’s not too late.
Reminder: once you hit 70 points, you'll get a beautiful print by a local artist and an invitation to join the Bootcamp Awards Party on July 12.

It’s worth 20 points to attend a NYC Primary Bootcamp event.
It’s worth another 20 points to attend an event through a local civic group.
Are you attending the Primary Bootcamp Civic Fair this evening? 20 points.
Are you attending the mayoral debate watch party tomorrow? Another 20 points.
Here’s more upcoming events next week that count. And I’ll be at both!
Jun 9 from 6-8pm: Primary Bootcamp Crown Heights Meetup (RSVP here)
Jun 11 from 6:30-9pm: Happy Hour with Open New York (RSVP here)
Or log a recent event that you went to. Did you come to the Primary Bootcamp launch party in April? Or a past Primary Bootcamp Meetup in LIC or UWS? Have you attended another event in the last month by another local civic group? Count that too.

put together a super helpful list of civic groups here.Lenny An and I are hosting the NYC Civic Fair tonight which will feature more groups that you can get to know as well.
If you don’t want to do research and you just want one recommendation, here’s my pick: Open New York. I’m on the board of Open New York, a grassroots group advocating for abundant homes and lower rent. We believe in housing for all and housing of all types. That means we support more social housing, more government-subsidized housing, and more market-rate housing. We have secured major policy wins that make housing more affordable, like the City of Yes which allows a little more housing in every neighborhood. The membership fee is $36 dollars per year, and membership dues are tax-deductible. Sign up here
